In every set of summer staff there are a few who are the magnets for strange things to happen to them, around them, near them....this is a conversation as relayed to me by one such staff member.
Briana, to camper running by with bare feet: "Hey buddy, could you please put your shoes on?"
Camper: "You have no friends!"
Briana: "Um...okay...but even if that's true you still have to put your shoes on."
